NZBC membership is open to companies involved in the non-alcoholic beverage sector.

We exist to represent and advocate on behalf of the manufacturers and suppliers of New Zealand’s juice, carbonated soft drink, bottled water and flavoured-dairy brands.

We are committed to advancing our members' interests and delivering good value for money. Our members represent 75 percent of the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages sold at retail level in New Zealand.

Our membership is made up of a wide range of companies operating in New Zealand – from some of the world’s largest multinationals through to small boutique producers, as well as the companies that support them.

We are committed that all of our members, no matter their size, will have their voice heard.

Our Membership Categories

The Council provides two levels of membership.

Membership in the Manufacturer category is available to any person or company engaged in the manufacture, bottling, importation or distribution of non-alcoholic cold beverages (excluding non-flavoured milk).

Membership in the Supplier category is available to those companies and individuals who provide packaging, ingredients and other services to the industry. This includes companies involved with the provision of financial, legal and other consulting services to the industry.

Our Subscription Fees

The New Zealand Beverage Council’s strength comes from its unity, and our subscription fees have been calculated to ensure that companies of all sizes are able to join. Fees are based on a company (or individual’s) turnover as it relates to non-alcohol beverage turnover.
