Code of Practice
New Zealand Beverage Council members are expected to abide by the Council’s voluntary Code of Practice.
The Code of Practice provides regulators, consumers and others involved in the industry with assurance that our members' products are accurately labelled, are not misleading or deceptive and comply with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, the Fair Trading Act and any other relevant legislation.
If any person believes that one of our members has breached the Code of Practice, they can make a complaint in email or writing.
Complaints will be treated in confidence and will be referred to the Industry Compliance Committee for review and investigation.
