Aggressive policy moves in the marketing rules for food and beverage products are affecting how products are promoted, labelled, and sold in a number of countries. The continued push from WHO and others to limit marketing of these products is eroding. Each of these adds to the calls for greater regulation of food and beverage marketing in this country.
Just back from Global Marketer Week, in this webinar Lindsay Mouat will brief you on the latest regulatory threats from the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia and how these, together with this years’ UN high level meeting on Non-Communicable Diseases, will shape future marketing restrictions in this country.
Lindsay is Chief Executive of ANZA (the Association of New Zealand Advertisers). He is an advocate for responsible self-regulation of advertising, and as such engaged in issues as diverse as advertising codes, brand safety and privacy. Lindsay is also the advertiser representative on the Advertising Standards Authority’s Governance Board.
