NZBC membership is open to companies involved in New Zealand’s non-alcoholic beverage sector.
We represent and advocate on behalf of the manufacturers and suppliers of the country’s juice, carbonated soft drink, bottled water and flavoured-dairy brands.
Our role is to champion the interests of our members, strengthen the sector’s collective voice, and support a thriving, responsible and future‑focused beverage industry.
Our membership spans large multinational brands, local New Zealand producers, and the companies that supply goods and services across the beverage ecosystem. Together, we work to create an environment where our members can succeed, consumers have choice, and the wider industry continues to grow and innovate.
Membership Categories
The New Zealand Beverage Council’s strength comes from its unity, and our subscription fees have been calculated to ensure that companies of all sizes are able to join. Fees are based on a company (or individual’s) turnover as it relates to non-alcohol beverage turnover. The Council provides two levels of membership:
Manufacturer Subscription
Membership in the Manufacturer category is available to any person or company engaged in the manufacture, bottling, importation or distribution of non-alcoholic cold beverages (excluding non-flavoured milk).
Annual subscription fees are based on turnover (as it relates to the non-alcohol beverage sector).
Supplier Subscription
Membership in the Supplier category is available to those companies and individuals who provide packaging, ingredients and other services to the industry. This includes companies involved with the provision of financial, legal and other consulting services to the industry.
Annual subscription fees are based on turnover (as it relates to the non-alcohol beverage sector).

Membership as a Manufacturer or a Supplier is as per the Incorporated rules and regulations for the Council as per the following:
