NZBC Advocacy Update and Discussion with the Commerce Commission
Join us on Wednesday 21 October for an NZBC advocacy update and a discussion with the Commerce Commission on its Wholesale Grocery Supply Inquiry and what it means for beverage suppliers.
The inquiry highlighted concerns about wholesale pricing and how supplier-funded rebates, discounts and promotional payments flow through to smaller retailers. The Commission is now focusing on compliance with existing rules. For beverage suppliers, this raises practical questions about promotional funding, the value received from these payments, and supplying smaller retailers on workable terms.
This session is an opportunity to hear directly from the Commission about its next steps, ask questions and share your experiences.
