Recorp is a New Zealand–owned aluminium can manufacturer who commenced production in 2024 after 20 months of project planning work. They are now operating a state-of-the art, $100m production facility in Manukau.
What Recorp does
Manufactures aluminium beverage cans locally in a range of formats (Slim, Sleek & Classic).
Offers low MOQs, driven by latest-in-globe technology that supports fast changeovers and speed.
Recorp has a series of sustainability initiatives aimed at measuring, controlling and improving performance to drive long term sustainability targets and reduced waste.
Why it matters
Aluminium is infinitely recyclable and using recycled aluminium takes ~95% less energy than producing new aluminium.
Recorp offer a can body which is made from 85% recycled aluminium.
Their cans are meticulously engineered, employing innovative light-weighting techniques without compromising quality.
The facility has the capability of ~500m+ cans per annum, significantly increasing locally made supply.
